Privacy policy
This statement explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website. In short: as little as possible. The site sets no cookies, embeds no third-party services and uses no external tracking tools. Fonts and all content are served directly from its own server.

Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM - Neue Medien Münnich (Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany). When you visit, the host automatically processes server log files (IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser identifier). This data is required for the technical operation and security of the website and is deleted after a short period. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with the host.
Contact form and email
If you use the contact form or send an email, the information you provide (name, email address and optional details such as format, preferred date or message) is processed solely to handle your inquiry. The data is sent by email to gerald@aichholzer.me and is not shared with third parties. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and the legitimate interest in answering inquiries (point (f)). The data is deleted once the inquiry is settled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Blog newsletter
If you sign up for the blog newsletter, your email address is processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) to notify you about new posts. The signup is sent by email to gerald@aichholzer.me and is not shared with third parties; no newsletter service provider is currently used. You can withdraw your consent at any time with an informal email, and your address will be deleted promptly.
Audience measurement
This website uses self-hosted, anonymous visitor statistics without cookies and without third parties. It records pages viewed, origin (referrer), language, device class, time on page and scroll depth. The IP address and browser identifier are never stored: to tell visitors apart, an identifier is computed from the IP address, the browser identifier and a random value that changes daily (one-way hash). The random value is overwritten every day, which makes recognition beyond a single day or any profiling technically impossible. Statistics data is deleted after about 13 months. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in understanding the use of this website in anonymized form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise these rights, simply contact gerald@aichholzer.me. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at).
