AI: opportunities, risks and the unknown (PULS 4 documentary)
I had the chance to appear in the PULS 4 documentary “Killt uns die KI?” (“Is AI going to kill us?”): a film about the many sides of artificial intelligence, from its uses to its risks.
I was glad to take part in the PULS 4 documentary “Killt uns die KI?” (“Is AI going to kill us?”). The film takes on the full range of artificial intelligence: from what it actually does today to the dangers we rarely talk about with a level head.
Since ChatGPT arrived in late 2022, these tools have become part of everyday life for millions of people. They write text, generate images and handle tasks that used to call for specialist knowledge. The flip side belongs in the picture too: new ethical questions, shifts in the job market and the risk that the same technology can serve dangerous ends.
That tension is exactly what the documentary tries to hold, all the way to the existential risks that the very people building this technology are warning about.
